Dwell with Dignity, a nonprofit organization based in Dallas, Texas, is dedicated to transforming lives through design. By providing complete home interiors for families emerging from homelessness and poverty, they aim to create environments that support health, wellness, and thriving.

Partnering with local social service agencies, Dwell with Dignity identifies families committed to self-sufficiency and positive change. They supply these families with essential furnishings, art, bedding, kitchen supplies, and even food, fostering an environment where families can feel proud and thrive.

To fulfill their mission, Dwell with Dignity relies on the generosity of the local community, design professionals, and home industry retailers who donate furniture and resources. Their annual fundraising event, Thrift Studio, offers a unique shopping experience, selling donated items at significant discounts, with all proceeds directly benefiting their cause.

Since their inception, Dwell with Dignity has completed over 215 projects, including single-family homes and community spaces for nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations in the Dallas area. They firmly believe that changing a person’s environment can positively impact their outlook on life and contribute to breaking the cycle of poverty.
