CORE Furniture Bank serves as a vital resource for families in need in Summit County, Ohio, providing essential furniture to create comfortable homes. They accept donations of basic, clean, and usable furniture items, such as mattresses, beds, dressers, sofas, and more. These items are then redistributed to families whose furniture needs have been verified through home visits by social services agencies or CORE  volunteers.

To request furniture assistance, individuals can fill out a DIY Voucher Form on CORE Furniture Bank ‘s website. Once submitted, CORE emails the voucher within a week. If email access is unavailable, individuals can use the email of a family member, neighbor, or friend.

Operating solely on Saturdays, CORE Furniture Bank opens its doors for pre-check-in at 7:00 AM, with furniture distribution from 8:00 to 11:30 AM on a first-come, first-served basis. Furniture donations can also be dropped off at CORE’s warehouse on Saturdays from 8:00 to 11:00 AM. A minimum donation of $10 is requested to help offset the $27 pickup cost for home pickups, ensuring the sustainability of their operations.
